Cleanups are great, but don’t forget to look at the bigger picture: Where is the pollution coming from? Can you stop it at its sources? Often supporting local businesses to make the right transition is the solution, not the cleanup. But cleanup attracts new members :)

Flemington Kensington rotary are working with our local council and other clubs to develop a wildlife habitat and pollination corridor along the Maribyrnong river - a multi year, multi event activity which includes local environment groups and schools.

There are also the Emergency Relief Networks like EERN, WERN and most recently-RIMERN- the Rotary Inner Melbourne Emergency Relief Networks ..the home of Residential Recycling. Saving so many re-useable household items going to landfill.
