Jennifer Scott
Rotary International Director Zone 8 2005-07
Zone Conference Convenor, Jennifer Scott AM, is the current RI Director Zone 8 for 2025-2027. She lives in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia where she is a member of the Rotary Club of Central Blue Mountains.
She is passionate about peace building and ecological sustainability and is a member of the Rotary Foundation Cadre of Technical Advisors for the Environment and WASH.
Jennifer served as District Governor in 2007-08 and subsequently on the boards of RDU, TARFT and RAWCS and she was the chair of the 2024 Singapore International RI Convention Committee. She has service as a director on a range of Not-for-Profit boards. Together with her husband, Ian, Jennifer has led teams of project volunteers to Pursat in Cambodia, and a Vocational Training Team to Mongolia. Jennifer has served as a Training Leader, Seminar Trainer, and Moderator at previous International Assemblies. She was awarded the Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service and is a Community Fellow of Western Sydney University. In 2023 she was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for her services to community in a range of organisations. She and Ian are major donors, and bequest society members. Her hobbies include trail running, hiking, and gardening. In 2019 Jennifer walked the Camino de Santiago and in 2024, she walked the Chemin du Puy in France.
